Intro

Before the world changed due to COVID, I had a dream, to build something cool. I prayed and asked God for direction, and I believe He gave me, simply "start small." I had been intrigued by the idea of tiny houses, and so that started the journey.

The first project "sojourn" was the flagship of a collection of custom built or highly customized "off the beaten path" tiny houses. The "sojourn" takes its name from a word used even in Biblical times, meaning short or temporary stay. It is a "disconnected" space, meaning better mental health with no internet (no wifi) or TVs - just peaceful, quiet bliss, encouraging you to time to breath.

After that, I kept praying as I continued to want to learn more about the world of tiny houses and other small housing, such as shipping container houses, modulars, and A-frames. In 2024, by Gods graces, Workmanship Company was born. My goal and dream is to build small beautiful and affordable housing spaces that can aid one in their quest for a more minimalistic lifestyle, and offer a disconnect and getaway from the normal course of life.
